I wrote this before I quit smoking. I would go outside our apartment for a smoke, this was on a very cold frosty winter`s night, with a full moon, and Mars both high in the sky. Where I live is on the flight path from the UK to the USA, and planes taking off from Manchester, 35 miles away, go directly overhead as they climb.>BR> On this night I watched two aircraft Pass both the moon, one either side, their con trails slicing the sky into segments.
