As knight in shining armour
Cross jewelled Southern sky
He came from out of nowhere,
With fire encrusted eye.

Through mighty Shenandoah
His sparkling blade did scythe.
Along majestic valley
The gray wave he did drive.

Immortalised forever
On horse he sits so tall.
