CHURCH MATTERS

EXODUS 2000

. Exodus 200 is a new ministry based in Columbia, South Carolina, which urges Christian parents to take their children out of government schools to ensure their moral and intellectual development.

E.Ray Moore, President of Front Line Ministries and the Director of Exodus 2000 said: "Today some 12-15 million evangelical Christian children, or 90% of the children from Christian families, are still attending government schools which are no totally hostile to their faith.  If these families were to leave Pharaoh's schools for the promised land of Christian schools or home-schooling, it could trigger the spiritual awakening we are all praying and longing for to renew our churches, our nation, and our debased culture."

The real issue is not the separation of church and state, but the separation of school and state.

THE CONFEDERATE EVANGELICAL ASSOCIATION

This is a new group that has recently been formed in an effort to inject
the spirit of Christianity into the Confederate Movement.  It must be recognized that the Christian faith was an integral part of the old Confederacy and this newly formed group seeks to do that.
