I want to take a minute and thank a gentlemen who has become a true friend and  is
a true Southron.  Who is humble in self, but who does and will forever stand tall in his love of the  South and the Confederacy.   Jack Harris,  founder of the Dixieland Ring, is just that gentlemen.  Jack  is a man with a vision, trying to keep Southern heritage and culture alive,  not through hate or racism but through knowledge and understanding and his great love of  the South.    Take the time and visit the vast and diversified sites of the Dixieland Ring.

SIXTEENTH SOUTH CAROLINA INFANTRY
Steve Batson is a historian, scholar,author, friend, and webmaster of a very historical and factual Sixteenth South Carolina Infantry site.     I met Steve through his association with Jack Harris. Steve and his family have become dear friends.  Steve Batson is an educator, historian, writer, and true Southron.  He has written a very interesting collection of folklore and  sagas of historical fiction which are available for all to enjoy..FOLKLORE   If there is anything you wish to know of Southron history, Steve Batson can surely be of help.

CROSSROADS GAZETTE
     On the following pages we will endeavor to once again attach flesh and bone
    to our heroes so  that we may better  understand  the feelings of  those men
    who have now gone to dust.  It is said that, "Before we can honor - we must
    first understand."   The Year is 1861 thru many years later--

Turn the corner and follow the sidewalk into the Crossroads Mall, where you will find shops filled with items that are modern in nature and manned by shopkeepers who believe in the old southern values.

the Old South and the Great South. 

Read the poetry of our favorite English Poet, Roy Rawlinson
in tribute to all the ladies and gentlemen of the Confederacy.
They are so touching in memorial to those who sacrificed
everything for their beliefs.
